George Strait
George Harvey Strait, an American country music singer, was born on May 18, 1952. Strait was also known as the “King of Country”. A number of critics also refer him as a living legend. George Strait’s style of western swing music, honky-tonk styles and bar-room ballads are indeed unique and fresh. In 1989, Strait won the awards of CMA Entertainer of the year and in 1990 he was awarded with the ACM Entertainer of the year.
