James William, better known as Jimmy Buffett was born on December 25, 1946. Apart from being a singer, Jimmy Buffett is also a movie producer. He is well known for his “island escapism” lifestyle. The hit number of Jimmy Buffett includes “Come Monday” and “Margaritaville”. His band is known as the Coral Reefer Band. The devoted fans of Jimmy Buffett are popularly known as Parrotheads. Jimmy Buffett’s musical career began as a country artist, during the late 1960s. He recorded his first album in 1970, which was a folk rock called Down to Earth. His “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” a duet with Alan Jackson became a Number 1 hit on the country charts. The song also won the Country Music Association Award in 2003, for Vocal Event of the Year.
