Mötley Crüe, an American heavy metal band, was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California. The bass guitarist Nikki Sixx and the drummer Tommy Lee founded the band. Sixx, at that time was a member of a band called London. Singer Vince Neil and guitarist Mick Mars joined Mötley Crüe later. The band has sold more than 40 million album copies all over the world. They are well known for their hard-living lifestyles. In fact, all the members of Mötley Crüe are heavily tattooed and have suffered long addictions to drugs and alcohols.
