The English rock band, The Rolling Stones was formed in London in 1962. Brian Jones, pianist Ian Stewart, guitarist Keith Richards and vocalist Mick Jagger were the original members of the band. The early lineup was completed when drummer Charlie Watts and bassist Bill Wyman joined the band. Ian Stewart continued as the keyboardist until his death in 1985. The early recordings of The Rolling Stones were mostly covers of R&B and American blues songs. The Rolling Stones were established as a premier rock and roll act with their 1965 single “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”. The Rolling Stones have sold around 200 million albums all over the world.
