Sesame Street Live first opened in September 1980 at the Metropolitan Sports Center, Bloomington, Minnesota. It then went on to become the longest running theater show for children. Since then, the show has been performed in theaters all over the world including United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Bahrain, Mexico, England, Scotland, Wales, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Dubai, Philippines and Hong Kong.
The Sesame Street Live show is designed based on the award-winning TV version of “Sesame Street”. The aim of the live theater version was to give the kids an opportunity to participate in the events and also to allow them watch all their favorite puppets perform live.
